I am very interested in this. I am thinking about the binder as a storage system. I was thinking about this but perhaps you can answer a question. IF I
1) stamp the images on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet
2)laminate the page
3) afix the unmounted (either clear or rubber) to the laminated page
4) put the page with the stamps on it in a page protector
5) put protectors in binder

would the stamps clear or rubber be damaged in anyway? I thought I have heard that doing it this way could some how smash them into each other. I already have a binder and the protectors and of course the paper, I would just have to spend for laminating...THOUGHTS?

YES, they stick very well! When you are finished using it, clean it, then peel it off the acrylic block and put it back in the case. If it stops being sticky, just clean the "sticky" side with plain water! It works great!

So, once they're not mounted, they will cling to the acrylic blocks?? This is just too cool! I'm so excited! Thanks!

I forgot to tell you that my wood mounts are presently stored in small, flat, clear plastic topped boxes, just deep enough for stamps. The images are in the sections of the binder and numbered; then the stamp is pleaced in a box with the same number.

I have hundreds of wood mount stamps and a different and unique method to store and find them. I will soon begin to unmount some of them and plan to use the envelope and box method. I will stamp the image on an envelope, record the company, stamp it in my HUGE D-ring binder with the letter and/or number reference for the envelope and put in the correctly labeled box (in order). Any stamp my be in one or many of the sections of the binder (for example in small stamps, flowers and art stamps). It is really kind of hard to explain; wish I could show you!

I just came across this page and I will definetly use this idea. I was trying to figure out a way to organize by newly acquired stamps.

Thanks Joy
