Password protect your flash drive!

I have been researching how to protect the files on a flash drive. I tried a couple of programs that didn’t work well or were very cumbersome to use.  Then I found one called SafeHouse that I recommend!

This is a FREE program you can download onto your PC and your flash drive. Here is a video that explains how to use the software:

To read about and download this software, see the SafeHouse website.

Food Tidings

If you know of someone who is in need of having some meals brought in due to having surgery, having a baby, or they are laid-up for awhile, this website lets someone coordinate with a group of people who is bringing a meal on what date, etc. Check their website, Food Tidings. You can create a schedule and email the link to people who can log on and sign up for a date to bring a meal! Really a great idea!

WOW! In a little over 13 months, this blog has had 10,000 views!! I never thought that would happen when I created it! I thought I’d post this big milestone! 🙂

Happy 2008!

I hope everyone has a GREAT 2008!

About Me

My name is Gail and I live in the Midwest with my husband and 2 teenaged sons. My oldest has Type 1 (juvenile) diabetes.

I enjoy computers, message boards and Palm PDA’s. Scrapbooking has been a hobby of mine for over 14 years. I also like reading different home organization tips. Since I had a hard time coming up with a blog title with all these different subjects, I chose butterflies because I have loved them since I was a young girl!
