Menus & Recipes

Posting menu plans & recipes. Most recently I am trying to get back to meal planning and putting more of my recipes on my Living Cookbook software, which makes it easier to figure out the carbs for my son to take insulin for his Type 1 Diabetes. I’ve had this software for about 2 years now but I need to be more in the habit of using it! It has an easy “capture” screen to import your own recipes from Word, emails or the internet, or you can import other recipe versions. It links to the USDA food database, and allows you to calculate carbs and all nutrition in homemade foods.

The other day I found a blog where someone does “Menu Plan Mondays” and posts her menu, and then others can link to it and post their menus on their own blogs. I believe she has about 200 that sign up here weekly! Take a look here.

  1. Hi,
Lately I have been spending time on my computer trying to learn about it, scrapbooking and and trying to get more organized. I was surprised to find this site! At the moment I am doing a lot of surfing and saving a lot to favorites. It seems that I am typing about myself. You will be hearing from me again. Keep up the good work. By the way, I am also trying to get over the loss of my best friend and scrapping and diabetes partner who died this past April. I miss her. Thanks, Annette
